*Little Bird Discovers a Leaf-Animal Secret*

One bright morning,

a little bird was flying along the seashore.

Flap… flap…

The waves were shining.

The sun was smiling.

Suddenly, the bird stopped.

“Hey!” it chirped.

“What is that green leaf floating in the water?”

The bird flew closer.

“Oh my!”

“The leaf is moving!”

*A Very Strange Leaf*

The little bird landed on a rock and asked kindly,

“Hello, green leaf! Are you really a leaf?”

The green shape smiled softly and replied,

“No, little bird. I am not a leaf.”

The bird blinked its eyes.

“Not a leaf? Then…?”

*A Gentle Sea Friend*

The green creature answered gently,

“I am a sea slug.

I am an animal.”

The bird opened its beak wide.

“An animal? But you are green like a leaf!”

The sea slug laughed kindly .

“Yes, I look like a leaf,

but I can move and feel like an animal.”

*A Curious Question*

The bird thought for a moment and asked,

“Plants use sunlight to make food.

Do you do that too?”

The sea slug nodded slowly.

“Not exactly,” it said.

“When I was young,

I ate tiny green plants from the sea.”

*A Clever Secret*

The bird asked excitedly,

“What happened then?”

 The sea slug explained,

“I kept the green parts from those plants

inside my body.”

 The bird tilted its head.

“Why did you keep them?”

The sea slug smiled and said,

“They help me use sunlight

to get some energy.”

“Wow!” chirped the bird

“That is very clever!”

 *Still an Animal*

The bird asked one last question,

“So… are you a plant now?”

The sea slug shook its head gently.

“No, no. I am still an animal.”

“I cannot make food all by myself like plants do,”

it said.

“But the green parts help me a little.”

*A Happy Goodbye*

The little bird smiled happily.

“You are different,

and that makes you special!”

The sea slug smiled back.

“Nature loves different ideas,” it said.

The bird flew away, thinking,

“Nature is full of wonderful secrets!”
