Bed time story -1

Image
The Night of the Oldest Friends On a quiet night, when the moon spread silver light across the earth, a little boy named Arjun lay on his bed, unable to sleep. He looked out of his window and whispered, “Why does time move so slowly when I want to sleep… and so fast when I play?” Just then, a soft breeze entered his room. It carried a gentle voice— “Come, Arjun… let me show you something.” Before he knew it, Arjun found himself walking in a magical forest, glowing under starlight. Do you do that too?” The sea slug nodded slowly. “Not exactly,” it said. “When I was young, I ...

He has sharp teeth and a long tail. One little frog was very curious. Instead of feeling afraid, it wanted to learn more. So the frog hopped closer. The frog asked politely: “Uncle Crocodile, why do you have such a big tail?” The crocodile smiled. “My tail is not just for fighting,” said the crocodile. “When I swim fast in water, it is my tail that pushes me forward. It helps me turn quickly and catch my food.” “If an enemy comes close,” the crocodile continued, “I hit the water with my tail. The sound and power are enough to scare them away.” The frog opened its eyes wide.   The frog asked again: “What if you don’t get food?” The crocodile replied, “My tail stores fat inside it. That fat gives me energy when food is hard to find.”     The frog smiled and said, ...
