Chapter 1: Raju Returns:Raju, the “Flying Mouse,” had once again reached London. But this time, he did not flap his magical wings all the way from India like before. Instead, he came happily by flight. That’s a wonder in itself — but that story is for another time!
At the airport, in front of the big board that said “Welcome to London,” Raju stood waiting for his friends.
Raju was no longer the same young mouse. Old age had touched him. He now carried a walking stick, wore round spectacles, and his fur had patches of white. Yet, his eyes sparkled with hope as he looked around for his little friends — Viraj, Vihaan, and Advait.
Viraj was 8 years old, with a chubby face and a gap where his front tooth had fallen. His curiosity never stopped. His younger brother Vihaan was just 5, round-faced and full of funny antics that made everyone laugh. Advait, who was 6, was called “Chotu.” He had sharp eyes and thought like a little detective.
Just then… the three boys spotted Raju from afar! They ran at full speed and hugged him tightly. Raju’s heart was filled with love as he embraced them warmly.
Chapter 2: The Magic Stick

One day, while playing happily with the children, Chotu asked,
“Raju, will you do some magic?”
Raju smiled. He picked up a dry stick from the ground and, with a wave of his paw, turned it into a Magic Stick!
“Let’s play train!” he said.
Raju became the engine, Viraj and Chotu stood behind as train coaches, and Vihaan became the guard coach at the end. They held on to each other’s shirts and got ready.
“Chuk-chuk-chuk… here we go!” shouted Raju.
At first, the train ran on the ground. But suddenly, with a wave of the Magic Stick, the train lifted into the air! Up in the sky they zoomed like a real flying train. The children laughed with joy as the wind brushed their faces. People in the park and passersby on the footpath below stopped in amazement. Some quickly took photos and videos. Even news reporters came rushing.
Soon, Raju and his Magic Stick became famous! Everywhere, children picked up dry sticks, pretending to fly like Raju, though many ended up bumping and falling.
Raju’s adventures were shown on TV, where he and his friends gave happy interviews.
They were enjoying their magical days together…
Chapter 3: A Little Backward Glance
Once upon a time, Raju the mouse lived an ordinary life like any other mouse. One day, he happened to see an Atlas book in Chintu’s hands. Curious, he looked through it and learned the names of many countries.
Among them, the name U.K. (United Kingdom) caught his fancy! Raju became obsessed with the idea.
“I’m going to the U.K.!” he declared stubbornly.
Chintu’s grandfather laughed and said, “If you want to go abroad, you’ll need a passport and a visa first.”
Without a second thought, Raju rushed to the passport office. But the officers said,
“You’re a mouse! We can’t issue passports or visas to mice.”
Raju was furious. He stormed off to a nearby temple. There, he drank some theertham (holy water) kept in a brass pot.
Suddenly, he felt dizzy. When he opened his eyes, he was shocked — beautiful wings had grown from his body!
He practiced flying, flapping his new wings with excitement. Just then, a British Airways airplane flew overhead. Raju followed it, soaring beside the giant aircraft, and before long, he had reached London!
The media went wild over this strange event.
Headlines around the world read:
“Raju, The Flying Mouse!”
After discussions between the governments of India and England, Raju was officially granted free lifetime travel on British Airways.
All expenses were to be shared by both countries.
Now, with his newfound fame and privileges, Raju the Flying Mouse returned to London once again — spending his days joyfully with his friends.
